Our People
Erminia is the head of the Borgo San Pecoraio family, she was at the side of Michele and together they built the property literally from scratch in the 80' and 90'. She is an excellent traditional cook. Born and raised in Liguria and lived 40 years in Tuscany, she is happy to share with you her classic Italian recipes.

Our Chef Jo is originally from Peru. He grew up in a culture where food is something really meaningful: not just eating, but connecting with family and honoring traditions. Now he brings together what he learned from his Peruvian background with Italian cooking, using fresh and in-season ingredients.

Itinerary
You can book cooking lessons with Erminia & Jo at the panoramic Borgo San Pecoraio terrace and enjoy the meal afterwards. It's a very nice alternative to going to a restaurant, just something different without a huge price difference. Feel free to bring kids, it's a family friendly activity. Roll up your sleeves and prepare:

  • We start with a warm welcome through a classic Tuscan crostino (fettunta with olive oil, salt, and pepper), paired with our house wine.

  • Starters: Bruschetta al pomodoro & crostini with spinach

  • Fresh pasta: Homemade tagliatelle and filled ravioli

  • Sides & sauces: Tomato sauce and a rich pecorino fondue

  • Dessert: The iconic Italian tiramisù

After the class you will receive all the recipes and enjoy the delicious meal you've prepared.
